Hi. I'm John. Thank you for considering working with me. The following is a bit about who I am professionally and personally.

I have always enjoyed helping people and after 19 years in the IT industry at Ameridata and Microsoft I decided to change careers as I wanted to help people in ways that are more personal, impactful and tangible. 

​

I have a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University and I am a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC). I work in a variety of therapeutic styles customized to the needs of my client and have received advanced training in Trauma-Focused CBT+ for sexual abuse, Exposure Therapy, Grief Therapy, Gottman Relationship Therapy, Real Life Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I am also an ADD coach.

Outside of the therapy office I enjoy live music, dancing, hiking, fishing, slam poetry, and board gaming.
